about
Having been a classical guitar player, member of a post-punk band, and electronic music producer, Italian Business Economics student, Marco Maiole, has always had a fascination with music. With a deep love for 80s disco and modern electronic music, the self-confessed "synth nerd" has combined both to create his debut EP.
"Pollen" blends his influences and expands upon them by utilizing simple vocal melodies on top of harmonically diverse arrangements. To compliment his upbeat, feel-good sound, Marco has partnered with producer Miami Mai for the EP's single, TooNite, and designer Mauro Nacca to create the release's cover art.

It's hard to pick a favourite track. This is the only album i have so far deemed as "perfect", where every track, even the intro, is just a masterpiece in its own right. From the hard hitting Perturbator's Theme to the emotional title track, its 68 minutes of perfection. 10/10.

one of the 1st synthwave artists i got into way back in 2012..what a glorious time that was... for me it was/is (and is, and the music is) better than actual 80s music, altho it is amazing that i first discovered "italo disco" in 1992..and even tho 1980s output of "italo disco", I can still discover songs from that era I missed! you'd think after 30 years of listening to it that I'dve heard it all... anyways... SFERRO IS THE 💣!!! 💋💯🌴😎🌞⛱
