Illweevil A compilation album with tracks by Perturbator and Carpenter Brut instantly gets my love. The other artists are great as well. Favorite track: Warzone.

FLESH MECHANIC I bought this album mainly because of Carpenter Brut and Perturbator, but as it turned out, other artists have outdone themselves as well, and while I wasn't sure if this whole deal is worth 10 bucks, now I am sure. This album sits on the top amongst the Blood Dragon soundtrack and other scores. Favorite track: Warzone.

kmxexii An all-star lineup for a diverse dark synth OST. Newer fans may be hot for Perturb's "Vigilante" and the main theme, the latter deliciously gritty synth, and CBrut's "Warzone" which sounds oddly mechanical next to his lush EPs. HS's "Halogen" is my fave, with its tinny arpeggiated synths and slap bass breaks. I also recommend AH's "Rise From Your Grave", sounding more like Power Glove's "2043", and P101's atmospheric, galloping "Empty Shells", plus Betamaxx's highly dynamic "Retaliation". Sweet. Favorite track: Halogen City.

about

The following music is inspired by the short film RAGE, being created by a group of young filmmakers based in Pittsburgh, PA. Directed and co-written by synth artist Arcade High, RAGE is an action packed, 16-bit injected, 80s revenge tale. The story follows Kurt Niles, an every day guy living in the neon-lit Halogen City. After being left dead in the streets by a gang called The Dangers, Kurt returns from his asphalt grave and goes on a bloody rampage to save the girl he loves.

Inspired by early 90s arcade beat-em ups and action films of the 1980s, RAGE sets out to be a wild ride of blood, guts, and neon lights.

Special thanks to all the artists who willingly created this music to support the film. All the money from this compilation goes directly to the production of the full-length version of the film.
