This album is dedicated to the '80s synths, pop & waves artists, producers & filmmakers that influenced me so much.
"I remember about a dream back in the year 1999, in which I was sailing through 80's waves and synth culture, a journey through nights, searching for lost musical themes...
This album is like a message; A translation of that dream."
Big thanks to Steve Jenkins, Marie-Lou Desage and Who Ha, they have all had a huge contribution to the making of this album.
A note from SID64 about the CD release:
Back to the '80s sound!
For the CD version, some mixes and all mastering will be different. The music won't be leveled to what you find in digital platform today and the audio spectrum will be closer to what we used to hear in the 80's.
The aim is to recover levels, dynamics, bandwidth color, and the great listening conditions we had back in the '80s when CD's were just being commercialized.
Today, loud mastering is cool because at low listening level, you feel all the bass and highs very well, giving the feel of power. But the more you push the volume -- at normal level then at a higher level -- the more sounds might feel "strained" or distorted.
This is the opposite with quieter mastering. The more you push the volume, the more you'll feel power... and that seems more normal doesn't it?
Even when buying 80's LP's, they were almost all being "re-mastered," utilizing loud, 21st century mastering. And that's sad because it'll become harder and harder to experience what we've exactly got when listening to '80s CD releases. So, please keep your old first pressing CD's of your favorite bands!
My music heavily influenced by 80's music but, of course, there are a lot of production tricks some electronic music producers are using today. So it's not really a music that is 100% from the past, but I wanted the mastering of the CD version to stay within those listening conditions.

Makes me feel like I'm in California on a summer night in spite of having never stepped foot in America before and gives me nostalgic thoughts for a decade where I hadn't even been born yet. I really love this album. mooncousin
There are few times in life when you come across a genere of music that sticks with you for years. Even fewer times do you come across an artist or band that seem to nail ever song they make.
For me, you guys are one! Helixien
